PLASTIC PASSION
We’re based on the outer north side of London in a town named Cheshunt, but sometimes get classed as being part of the ‘Essex scene’. Officially we formed in late 2006 with our first show just days later but before our ‘official’ formation Glenn and Lemmi released a split E.P. on Leaving Home Records under the name Plastic Passion featuring the song ‘Not Art’, which is now recognised as an ‘art-punk classic’ as far as Artrocker magazine is concerned.
In the year and a half or so since our ‘official’ formation we have toured up and down the country playing over 100 shows (honestly), with the likes of Blood Red Shoes, Foals, Jack Penate, Hadouken and more recently 30 Seconds To Mars at the Hammersmith Apollo.

ROTATING LESLIE
Rotating Leslie met at school in Hertfordshire when they were just 12 years old, they formed a friendship through their love of music, laughter and whatever cheap thrills they could get there hands on. They still have that friendship today and still have that love of music.
After years DJing on the London Free Party Scene the band came into it’s own in Coates Manor, the tumbledown farmhouse the band lived, practiced, wrote and recorded in for the last two years. This was also the venue for the legendary Woodendstock sessions, which saw the Leslie’s and their friends come together to party and wake up the sleepy countryside for the weekend.
It was at the Manor that the band released their first self-pressed 7”’s which sold out in weeks and received great acclaim from the press and radio. The video for one 7” was filmed in their front garden for nothing and ended up on MTV. It’s the band’s self contained DiY ethos which attracted the attention of the fans and record companies alike.
They have gained a large and loyal following from their incendiary London warehouse parties and extensive gigging over the last 12 months. This has seen them support The View at the launch party for E4’s Skins show, The Subways, The Rifles, Nice Black Alps, and their old flat mates Goldie Lookin Chain to name a few. They were even asked if The Subways could support them at a secret hometown gig and have since become firm friends.
NME described their sound as 'gritty, harmonic, pop'; call it what you will, they have steered away from the obvious indie clichés and instead, relied on their diverse influences from 80’s metal to electro house and created something fresh and exciting.
The band have been fervently writing and recording for the last few months culminating with sessions at Eden and RAK studios (home to sessions from Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, Primal Scream and The Sex Pistols) in winter 2007.
With Mind On My Money, Hackney Courage, Fire!Fire! and Send In The Lions they have realised their sound and with the songs receiving global airplay and support from stalwarts both side of the pond (most notably on L.A’s Indie 103), 2008 is becoming a good vintage for The Leslie’s

FLASHGUNS
An exciting London/Brighton quartet. Sam Johnston (Vocals and Guitar,) songwriter, fuses fast, disjointed tunes with dark, Audenesque lyrics and "plaintive vocals" (Steve Lamacq.) And boy can he dance. Rich, textural organ riffs (Oli Wright) lend a mysterious, almost haunting tone to the songs, Olly Scanlon's intricate bass lines are integral to the music whilst all the above is held together with time keeper Giles Robinson on drums adds the trade mark raw, lightening speed. Heavily influenced by bands such as the Smiths and the Cure, more modern influences include the Mystery Jets, Biffy Clyro, The Killers and Bombay Bicycle Club. Although still at boarding school, Flashguns are committed to writing and regular practice which gives for intense stage presence; which has been encapsulating audiences across the London and Brighton region, and over an album's worth of songs, with another album's worth in the nascent stages of composition and arrangement. |

CHALOU SAINT JUDE
Some Reviews:
"There’s more to Chalou Saint Jude than initial listens suggest. Beneath an exterior of Kings of Leon vocal growls and Stones-esque riffs, is an eminent infectiousness that, whilst clearly indebted to the past, can still stamp their own personal identity without getting lost in a mire of references... What Chalou Saint Jude have done is encapsulate the best of the present and past, and they’re the unique owners of a sound so good, you won’t believe nobody’s signed them yet. Classic stuff" - Ali Macqueen, Rock Feedback

CLINKER
Clinker has been making music since 1999. Originally all recorded by myself (Peter Jordan), its gradually turned into a full four piece band. The early recordings were very rough, due to the lack of technology and knowledge of how to use it.
Now I believe we get a great sound and LIVE we are sounding awesome, thanks to the great musicians/friends that i’ve managed to gather around me. Their commitment to the cause is unbelievable!
Its quite a varied bag what we do. What is available to listen to here is brand new stuff.
I’ve recorded 8 albums worth of material as Clinker over the last few years (including the new one "Clinker") and a few more as Opera Dog.

JELLYS LAST JAM
From the North West comes this energetic four piece with a truly original sound. On listening to Jelly's Last Jam, or even watching them perform live, the lack of electric guitars almost goes unnoticed as they storm through their set of fast paced indie pop, which leaves the listener breathless.
Lead singer Paul Byrne is a true rock star in the making, with faultless high-energy performances that suit his powerful vocal chords perfectly. Backed up by the stomping awe inspiring piano stylings of Rob Tryner, the pumping masterful bass playing of Martin Clarke and with furious drumming from powerhouse Andy Lyth this band display an awesome capacity for entertainment, making audience members exclaim "How are they still unsigned?!"

SOL DEVIOUS
To date 2007 has been a remarkable year for North London’s finest SOL DEVIOUS….and the best has yet to come
After becoming finalists in O2 Undiscovered, supporting The Twang and blowing the crowds away at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park, they are supporting fellow London lads The Rifles at Shepherds Bush Empire on the 4th of October and embarking on a mini tour of the North and the Midlands later that month.
Already masters of the London scene now, this indie rock’n’roll five piece take their inspiration from 60’s pop, 90’s indie, Factory Records and the Rave scene and merge these influences to create a fresh new sound with super high energy. Get your ass moving music.
SOL DEVIOUS have been packing them to the rafters and shaking the foundations at their live gigs and it hasn’t gone un-noticed. Their raucous tune “I Gave Up Drugs (Mistakes)” features in the new British film "Bigga than Ben" released in 2008, alongside Babyshambles, The Rifles and Joe Strummer on the soundtrack.
SOL DEVIOUS is a band full of strong characters who’s love of music and rock ‘n’ roll legend brought them together to create songs that are above all honest, packed with their own style and straight from the Sol including “I Gave Up Drugs (Mistakes)”, “Cut ‘n’ Run”, “Powder Monkey”, “Sol Revolution” and “Come A Long Way” they’ve got it and got it right with credible infectious anthems.

KID ID
Began life in the creative mind of Ralph Pelleymounter many moons ago. Since 2006 the current line-up of drums, bass, guitar, trumpet, trombone, djembe, percussion, violin, cello and a bucket load of vocals have been instigating rhythmic bodily writhing in venues across the UK. Winners of the reputable Bright Young Things competition in Easter 2006, Kid iD quickly established themselves on the Leeds circuit, headlining the Cockpit at the start of 2007 as well as performing with pop wonderboys I Was A Cub Scout and funky outfit Middleman on several occasions. Kid iD's sound soon began working its way around the country, selling out shows from Camden to Glasgow and even supporting classical/drum'n'bass experiment The London Breakbeat Orchestra at the legendary Clapham Grand.
This summer saw Kid iD play alongside the likes of Pendulum and Coldcut in Bristol at the dance music event Bloom Festival. With BBC2 radio play, live sessions on Kerrang, an exciting debut album and national magazine coverage Kid iD have gone from strength to strength, rapidly gaining a reputation for their original and upbeat performances, music from folk to funk and ska to drum'n'bass. Enjoy!

JOANA AND THE WOLF...
yeah it's like Peter and the wolf only the story is very different. A long time ago on the night of the full moon Joana went to the forest and came across the wolf who was howling. She came closer and said hey wolf can you teach me to sing that nice hooooowl. And the wolf said yes and asked her to open her pretty mouth, and when she did the wolf jumped in like into a deep well. Since then, the girl wanders around with the wolf inside her and each time the moon is full she lets out a wild hoooowl.
And so Joana came to London from her native Lithuania to seek out musicians- other boys and girls who had also swallowed a wolf. After performing a series of solo gigs, she advertised in newspapers, NME and so on but had soon spent all her money with nothing to show for it...after resorting to free ads she was beginning to despair of ever meeting any other wolf children...when one day in January 2005 Ali Wolf saw her Loot advert citing Kate Bush and Bjork...and soon Joana had found her guitarist.
Joana and Ali spent 5 months in hibernation honing their sound, and then in summer ’05 they added Louis Wolf (drums) and Katie Wolf (bass). In September of that year Joana and the Wolf performed their first gig. In their live performances, the dark, stripped-down harmonic and rhythmic power of the band provides the perfect platform for Joana's sensational expressive voice and her raw, naked energy.
The first half of 2006 saw the band play storming sets at Brighton's Great Escape festival, and at ULU supporting James Dean Bradfield. They also recorded their debut single with Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Editors producer) at The Chapel studios for Regal/Parlophone. Jim and his then producees Kasabian had recently witnessed the band attack the senses of a packed Water Rats crowd, prompting Serge Pizzorno to invite Joana to lend her voice on Kasabian's track 'Empire', which she duly did.
In August ‘06 Joana and the Wolf released set opener 'Purple Nights', backed by the infectious 'November', the single being a punk/pop masterpiece which won Steve Lamaqc’s 6 Music Rebel Playlist vote, the heart of Xfm’s John Kennedy, and much critical acclaim.
At Bestival 2006 they performed a triumphant Sunday set on the Rock n Roll stage, and more recently recorded a live session on John Kennedy's Xfm show. In 2007 they continue to build a faithful following, whose votes helped take the band to the 2007 INDY Music Awards in May, where they won the award for Best New Wave Act.

INDIGO SKINS
Formed in 2006, Indigo Skins are made up of John, 26, lead vocalist, Gav, 26, guitarist, Chris, 24, drums and Martin, 26, bass. Catchier than an Amsterdam brothel – and with no less variety, Indigo Skins have been making huge waves in the Indie/Rock scene throughout the whole of the North Of England & Scotland.
Their sound has been described as like the Jam beating the shit out of Pete Doherty with the Kinks getting fucked in the arse by the undertones in the background. Back on the gigging circuit and having performed alongside the likes of Glasvegas, Louie, The Law & upcoming performaces with The Wombats, The Enemy, the Happy Mondays, Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong at 2008's Forgotten Valley Festival, Indigo Skins have already succeeded in launching their first self titled E.P. at Carlisle’s “the brickyard’. In addition the band have been nominated for a number of music awards in the North of England including Best Band (Overall), Best Band in North Cumbria, Best Rock Band, Best EP and Best Song for the track ‘Lesson In Loss’ by Tough Guy Music Ltd
A much needed shot of adrenaline in a stagnant indie scene and more energy than a one legged man in an arse kicking contest. How many more shit tag lines is it gonna take before you stop reading this and get down to a gig?

You love her Coz Shes Dead
"You Love Her Coz She’s Dead are amazing. Imagine if Digitalism and Crystal Castles were asked to make a few tracks together after going on an MDMA binge for a week whilst playing the entire collection of Super Mario Bros games. It wouldn’t even come close to these three trash techno punks’ efforts."

THE MINORITY
Welcome to the minority music myspace. 2007 saw the creation of a diverse new band, The Minority, hailing from Belfast, London and Leeds. The driving forces behind the band are co-writers Tim Murphy and Alan Ladd who met at Queen's University Belfast in 2002.
Since then, they have been writing songs and collaborating with various musicians until they were joined this year by Kenny Harrower on drums and for guest appearances live and on record by Rick McKee on Lead Guitar. Their sound is a fusion of Tim's influences of singer-songwriters and bands such as Ryan Adams, David Kitt and REM and Alan's love of indie rock bands and classical music, most notably Radiohead, Elbow and Doves. The result is a unique style that is difficult to compare or place in any genre. Rick and Kenny have made their mark on the current songs, lifting them both live and on tracks recorded at the band's home studio.
